Has spent the past 24 years employed in both frontline and management positions in private and public hospital settings throughout Queensland. Having just recently completed her Masters of Nurse Practitioner specialising in Orthopaedics, she continues to work as an advanced practice clinician at Toowoomba Hospital in Orthopaedic Outpatients. She continues to provide consultative services to other Australian facilities to introduce new Orthopaedic models of care to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction and organisational requirements. Lastly Tanya is engaged with government advisory groups including the Orthopaedic Clinical Advisory Group and Australian Orthopaedics Association to help shape the future of Orthopaedic care into the future. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family travelling, camping and exploring anywhere that doesn’t’ have phone reception.
