Sheree Murray is a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife, Child Health Nurse, and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with more than 20 years of experience, 10 of those years have been working within West Moreton Hospital and Health Service. She is currently undertaking the role of Acting Clinical Nurse Consultant in Child Health, where she is committed to improving health outcomes for children and families across the community.
Sheree recently led a project focused on promoting safe sleeping practices and increasing community awareness of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI). Through education, advocacy, and collaboration, she has worked to enhance understanding of evidence-based strategies that support infant safety and wellbeing.
Passionate about all aspects of child and family health, Sheree particularly enjoys supporting new mothers throughout their breastfeeding journey. As an IBCLC, she is dedicated to empowering families with the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to achieve their breastfeeding goals and provide the best possible start for their infants.
Sheree is committed to delivering family-centred care and fostering positive health outcomes through education, mentorship, and evidence-based practice.
