Ros. completed her General Nursing training at Gympie Hospital in 1985 and
has worked in a variety of different settings including public, private, and not- for -profit facilities within Queensland and Victoria, as well as working in the UK and as a volunteer in Zambia. Ros. has worked most of her career in the areas of Oncology and Palliative Care, with a short hiatus in Midwifery.
Ros has been employed as an Advance Care Planning Clinical Nurse with the West Moreton Hospital and Health Service, Queensland Health since 2007. Even with over 45 years of nursing experience, Ros is of the belief that not a single day passes without her learning something new and often challenging.
The task at hand may be the same, but every interaction is unique. Every patient has had a different journey in life and therefore a different story to share.
