Antoinette is an Occupational Therapist working in the Darling Downs Allied Health Child Development Service for Queensland Health. Currently working as the Clinical Lead for Child Development, Antoinette works within the CDS team to provide clinical governance, leadership and training in child development practice and models of care. Antoinette trained as an OT at the University of Queensland and later completed her Masters degree through the University of Sydney. Antoinette has over 26 years experience in community developmental paediatrics and has a passion for promoting occupation and family centred practice. A core component of child development practice is assessing and supporting a multidisciplinary team in diagnostic understanding. Antoinette has developed specialist skills in ASD assessment, supporting and training OT’s and other allied health in the implementation of the ADOS-2 as a gold standard diagnostic tool.
