Jessica is a UQ graduate with Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and worked in Queensland public and private medical and rehabilitation roles before specialising in Hand and Upper Limb Therapy. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Hand and Upper Limb Therapy and a Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation through the Auckland University of Technology. She is an Accredited Hand Therapist under the Australian Hand Therapy Association and has worked alongside leading hand surgeons in Auckland’s North Shore Hospital, Brisbane Private Hospital and The Wesley. She has more recently worked in Senior Hand Therapy across MetroNorth, and is a member of the Queensland Hand Therapy Advocacy Committee. Since returning to Toowoomba, she has worked as an advanced practitioner in the Toowoomba Hospital Rural Hand Therapy Service and most recently with the trial of a Primary Contact Hand Therapy Service as part of the Toowoomba Hospital Orthopaedic Outpatients Department.
