Nick is a staff specialist Endocrinologist and department clinical lead at the Toowoomba Hospital. He completed a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada before moving to Australia to complete his medical degree and training. Nick completed a large part of his training in Townsville, QLD and has a passion for regional medicine and providing greater access to specialist care in the Darling Downs region. Although he completed a fellowship year at Genetic Health Queensland with a special interest in Endocrine genetics and currently on the National ‘EndoGen’ committee, his clinical interest and practice remain broad and covers all aspects of diabetes and endocrine care, including endocrine disorders in pregnancy. Nick moved to Toowoomba in June 2025 with his partner and young daughter and is committed to providing long term world-class endocrine care to the Darling Downs region.
