Dr Ivana Rizzuto relocated from the UK to Australia in 2020, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She currently works in private practice in Springfield and serves as Deputy Director of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at West Moreton Health.
Dr Rizzuto completed her specialist training through University of Cambridge and undertook fellowships in Gynaecological Oncology at Mater Hospital Brisbane and Royal Adelaide Hospital. She also completed a Fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery and holds credentials to perform da Vinci robotic surgery at West Moreton Health, Mater Private Hospital Springfield, and St Andrews Private Hospital Ipswich.
Dr Rizzuto is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).
In the past year, Dr Rizzuto was appointed Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland and secured research funding to support her work in vaginal atrophy and the management of menopausal symptoms.
