Burglind Liddle

Burglind Liddle is a dedicated and experienced hepatology Nurse Practitioner, who has been providing exceptional care to patients with liver diseases for over 20 years, having moved to her current role at Toowoomba hospital in March 2025. She has been working as a Nurse Practitioner after graduating from University of Queensland in 2016. In her current role, she works closely with a team of liver specialists, nurses, GP’s and allied health providing comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of liver conditions, including cirrhosis, hepatitis, liver cancer, and fatty liver disease.


Burglind has been involved in National guidelines and advocacy groups for the care of people with liver disease and is passionate about improving the quality of life for individuals with liver diseases and is committed to helping them improve their overall health. She has a strong understanding of managing of liver disease and remains an promoter for lifelong learning engaging with ongoing self-education and mentoring new nurses in hepatology.
